UEFA threatens to kick out England & Russia from EURO 2016 if fans' violence continues

England and Russia have been warned they face Euro 2016 disqualification if their fans continue with violent acts after Russian fans fought with English fans after Saturday's 1-1 draw. UEFA has charged Russia and England with 'crowd disturbances, racist behaviour and setting off fireworks' while star player Wayne Rooney and England coach Roy Hodgson have pleaded with English fans to stay calm during the Euro tournament in France.

The terrified son who sent his mother texts telling her he was 'in the bathroom' and 'I'm gonna die' as the gunman opened fire inside Pulse nightclub, has died. Eddie Justice was trapped in a nightclub bathroom when he contacted his mother Mina for the last time in a series of messages. The City of Orlando has now confirmed he was one of the 50 partygoers who were shot dead by Islamic extremist Omar Mateen on Sunday morning. (the 9th name on the list) Eddie, who worked as an accountant, ran into the bathroom to escape Mateen but he and a group were cornered. He asked Mina to call police as she arrived outside the Orlando gay nightclub in a desperate attempt to find her son.

Microsoft, today, announced that it is acquiring LinkedIn, the social network for professionals with 433 million users, for $26 billion, on $196 per share, in cash. The transaction has already been approved by the boards of LinkedIn and Microsoft.   LinkedIn is keeping its branding and product. It will become a part of Microsoft’s productivity and business processes segment. LinkedIn’s CEO Jeff Weiner will report to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Amnesty International accuses Nigerian Army of killing 17 unarmed Biafra protesters last month

International Human Rights group, Amnesty International, has accused the Nigerian Army of killing at least 17 unarmed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) during a clash with the group in Anambra state on May 30th. A statement by Amnesty which was released today June 10th, says investigations carried out by its officials who met with eyewitnesses and also visited morgues and hospitals, indicates that soldiers opened fire on members of IPOB and their supporters in Onitsha, Anambra State during the build up to a march by the group to celebrate Biafra Armed Forces Remembrance day.

Amnesty International said today Friday June 10th that Nigerian army last month killed at least 17 unarmed members of a group calling for secession, but the military dismissed the allegations as unfounded.
