  A Nigerian man has been spotted in a viral video confronting a police officer who he claims planted marijuana in his car.    Lucky Onwurah who disclosed that the incident occurred around Oji river in Enugu state, identified the police officer as Alex Okolo and also gave the number plate of the car the police officers drove as Abuja RSH578TH.    He wrote;   

    Donald Trump's daughter, Tiffany Trump, 27, is engaged to Nigerian-bred Michael Boulos, 23.   The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to announce the news.  

  Erm, so Disney Princess Skai Jackson, 18, and Solange's son Jules Smith, 16, dated and now there's supposedly a sex tape of the two.  

  Ace Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has taken to Instagram to celebrate his 40th birthday today January 20.    The singer in his birthday message, recounted "writing WAEC and doing revision on his PN Okeke just yesterday". He also prayed for a quality life and to laugh as much as he can.    Timi Dakolo wrote;   

  The Presidency has reacted to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu's ultimatum for herdsmen to leave forest reserves in Ondo state within 7 days.  Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu in a statement released on Tuesday January 19 stated that  Akeredolu being a senior lawyer would be the least expected to unilaterally expel thousands of herders who have lived all their lives in the state, on account of the infiltration of the forests by criminals.  

  President Donald Trump has reportedly granted clemency to rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black in his final hours in the office. In an official White House statement released late Tuesday night, Trump issued 73 pardons and commuted the sentences of 70 additional individuals with Lil Wayne and Kodak Black on the list.

  Twelve U.S. National Guard members have been removed from securing President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration including two who made extremist statements in posts or texts about the Wednesday event, Pentagon officials said.   

  Just hours before he's set to leave the White House, President Donald Trump released a taped "farewell address to the nation".   In his address on his final full day in office and after having been out of public view for more than a week, Trump touted his legacy and wished luck to the new administration.  

  A widow and mother of two, Adebimpe Sobowale, appeared before the Ogun State Panel of Inquiry on police brutality and human rights violations today January 19 where she shared the story of how her husband died while allegedly being detained by some officers of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad  SARS at the Zonal Intervention Squad in the Odeda area of the state over a N200 recharge card.   Narrating her story amidst tears, Adebimpe said she was arrested on Feb. 8, 2020, and taken to a holding cell in the station on an allegation that her SIM card was used to carry out a fraudulent action.  

US   President-elect, Joe Biden plans to sign roughly a dozen executive orders on his first day in the White House, that will show a stunning rebuke of outgoing US President Donald Trump's policies .

  His wife, Olasunkanmi, took to her Instagram page to shower prayers on him. She wrote;  

  A former Minister of State for Finance and Minister of Commerce and Industry, Senator Jubril Martins-Kuye, has died. He was 78 years old.   Late Kuye died in his home at Victoria Garden City, Lagos this morning January 17.

  The House of Representatives has kicked against resumption of schools amid the the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country.   The lower chamber of the national assembly which proposed a postponement of resumption for three months, said government officials did not consult the relevant committees of the National Assembly, contrary to their claim that all relevant stakeholders were consulted before arriving at the January 18, 2021, resumption date.

  Governor Babagana Zulum has alleged that many Borno children have been recruited into Boko Haram which is being sponsored by some foreign entities.    Citing Libya and Iraq as examples of how sectional insecurity could engulf a country, Zulum apppealed to Nigerians not to see the insurgency in the north-east as a northern problem but as an issue which affects everyone.   

  A 3-year-old boy, who was rescued alive from a well in Sapele, Delta State, has alleged that a yet-to-be-identified woman threw him into the hole.    The incident happened at Comprehensive Road in Amukpe area of Sapele on Saturday night, January 16.  

  The online feud between two footballer wives, Chinwe Aaron and Iheoma Nnadi Emenike has continued with the former claiming that the latter insulted her husband.
